We are very patriotic and love anything to do with the UK here at Ukgeocachers. We produced our first geocoin - the Best of British in 2006 and it went down a treat. Minted in four different metals they instantly became collectors pieces.
They featured a Union Jack on the fron over which is the head of a British Bulldog. The back of the coin was dedicated to Sir Winston Churchill and carried one of his famous quotes. It also carried the motto of the Royal Order of the Garter - Honi Soit Qui Mal Y Pense - which roughly translates to. Evil be to he who evil thinks. A fitting message to any potential geo-coin theif.

| Best Of British 2007 Geocoin - Britannia |
| After a long wait we released the 2007 Best of British geocoin. It is a great improvment on the previous coin and is excellent quality. The coin has two metal finishes on it. The base metal in Antique Gold and Britannia is sculpted in 3D and plated in Nickel to give her an amazing look. Both the front and back of the coins are epoxy coated to ensure that they stay in great shape for a long time if you release them into the wild.
Britannia was chosen as the icon for 2007 as she is probably one of the most well known British figures. The rear of the coin has some information about the British Empire in its hey day and Lord Kitcheners famous quote.
The coin also has a pre-drilled hole so that you can attach the coin to a Travel Bug Passport, Geocoin Assistant or even another object so that you can use it like an extremely posh Travel Bug.
It is trackable with its own icon as well. This really is a great looking geocoin, we also produced a 2007 Best of Brtish Geo-pin badge as well.
The reverse of the coin has the following message written around the edge:

| Best of British Micro Geocoin |

Its finally here, our first micro geocoin and it looks great. At only 1 inch in diameter it is small enough to fit into the standad 35mm film case micro geocache allowing your coin to travel to even more places - Why not give it a mission to only travel from micro cache to micro cache avoiding standard sized ones.

The Bulldog icon was chosen for the front of our micro as it is a well known British icon, instantly recognisable and associated with great figures from our past such as Winston Churchill.
