1. Ni-Mh rechargeable batteries will save you £££'s long term as they cost only a few pence to re-charge from the mains supply. Rechargeable batteries are increasingly popular especially in GPS, digital cameras, flashguns, and are also suitable for radios, toys and torches etc.

2. These AA Size (LR6) 2300 mAh are very high performance "Nickel Metal Hydride" battery cells and as such are particularly suitable for extra high power applications. Unlike Ni-Cad rechargeable batteries they will not suffer from so called "Memory Effect". which means that they can be charged at any time, even when only partially used. They will perform better than Alkaline batteries in most cases too. They can be re-charged up to 1,000 times in normal use - Just think of the massive savings to you !
