First To Find - The first person to discover a geocache once it is placed in the wild.
GPSr
Global Positioning System Receiver - A hand held piece of electronics that will accurately give you your location anywhere on the globe in a variety of formats.
Icon
An image associated with a trackable item. After logging a find or moving a trackable icon with an associated custom icon you will see that icon appended to your stats. Usually custom icons are reserved for Geocoins but there are exceptions.
Micro
A micro cache is a small cache usually a 35mm film pot or something of comparable size. You are very limited as to what if anything you can leave or trade in a micro cache.
Muggle
A term commonly used to descibe someone who isn`t a geocacher. It is derived from a term used in the Harry Potter books by JK Rowling.
Nano
A nano cache is a very small cache, usually it only contains a tiny rolled logbook. Geocachers will need to bring their own writting implement with them when visiting a nano cache.
TFTC
Thanks For The Cache - An abbreviation often used in geocache logbooks to prevent wasting space.
TNLN
Took Nothing, Left Nothing - An abbreviation often used in geocache logbooks to prevent wasting space.
TNLNSL
Took Nothing, Left Nothing, Signed Log - An abbreviation often used in geocache logbooks to prevent wasting space.
